LT Sighting: Wakefield, MN

We ran into this gentleman on his LT in Wakefield, MN today. He was from St. Paul; we were on our way back from Ely, MN on our way to the U.P. and (in a few days) home. We talked for just a moment or two. I didn't think to get his name, or offer mine. Is it anyone on this site?

Hey Howard

Just a thought on a place for lunch if you end up at the upper penisula, it was at the most northern end in su saint marie, it was called Anter brothers I think, very interesting place, had a stuffed version of almost every animal on earth, well maybe alot of them.

And some sort of loud whistle blows every now and then, didnt quite figure that out, but interesting non the less, Macinack bridge was cool too,

Talk to ya when you get back, maybe we can go to diner! if your still working up this way?

Thanks Glen, but we didn't go to that part of the U.P. Maybe next time!

Mackinac bridge? Yeah, did that today. Not fun, due to construction. We crawled all the way up the bridge, then 2nd gear all the way down... on the grating the whole way.

I am working in Cleveland Mon-Fri next week, and Mon-Thu the week after that. It continues for the foreseeable future.

How did you like that US 2? I did that route to the west side of SD. Lets just say I would probably not do it again. But it was still fun

We picked up US 2 near Blaney Park, MI then took it to the Mackinac Bridge. Some scenic stops along the way, and it looks a lot different than we went through there in March 2007. At that time, the lake was still frozen and there was nothing green except the fir trees.

Hey Howard

We will have to get together next week for a meal, or maybe a ride and eat, I dont get home from work till 5:30. I could grill at the house or head over to slim and chubbys for some wings?

My friend is camping up at Maumee State Park, about 90 minutes from my house if your looking for a ride, unless their working you to hard up here in Cleveland?

I will call you monday and try and set it up.
