Eddie James

Eddie James formally worked for the AMA and was a big part of Team Strange a Long Distance, IBA group. Eddie passed away yesterday while traveling in Atlanta Georgia on I-75 due to a Motorcycle/ Car accident.
Eddie was a Long Distance rider down to the core, and a true motorcyclist at Heart. I had the pleasure of his company for many miles on the road and at AMA events. I'll always remember that big smile. You will be missed, God speed Eddie.

Re: Eddie James

Eddie will indeed be missed. A number of years ago, I was in need of a trailer, someone referred me to Eddie. He even modified the trailer to work with my car, but would take no money, even for the rental. "It's bike stuff," was his comment. I still remember the look on his face shortly after getting 'the dream job' with the AMA.

RIP, Eddie.

Re: Eddie James

I had never heard of Eddie until this was posted last month. That day I did a search on team strange and found page after page of stories people had posted about him. I couldn't quit reading because he was such an interesting man and everyone seemed to have a differrent story. As I read those stories I kept thinking to myself that I wished I had met him because people like him don't come along very often. My prayers went out that day to his friends and family because there were so many of them that I could tell that this truely was a great loss to the motorcycle community.
