Merci Jean.
South shore of Mtl?
I always spend time in McMasterville when I come to Mtl. I have a sister in law living there.
I got the bike only few weeks ago (I still have a K100 with an EML sidecar), and I am planning to work on the K12 during the winter.
The bike is a 1999 (from Ottawa) and it seems that it has been well maintained. Even the final drive has been rebuilt less than 10,000 km ago.
According to my ETK (BMW dealer parts CD), the bike is a European version which is what we get in Canada.
I will do things like fuel quick couplings (if not already done), stainless steel brake lines and maybe change the springs on the shocks).
For now, I am just riding the bike to try to find if something in particular has to be checked during the winter.
BTW, I am French and communication language could be either of the Canadian official languages.
Cheers, amicalement
