Do you still have Viton 19x4 O-rings available? I could use one:

    Wallace Gingerich
    22450 Fairmount Blvd.
    Shaker Heights, OH 44118

If your supply is exhausted can you tell me where I might source one?

    Thanks, Wally

Hello Gordon. Gary here alias CheezNbeer. I own a early 2001 LT like you have and I wish to try out the Bridgestone tire that is made for our bikes. I have a couple questions about the tire choice. What tire do you use for the front wheel? I have found tire threads confusing instead of helpful because few answers seem to put the radial/non-radial question in reference to which year bikes the answering writer is speaking about. Is the Bridgestone tire for a 2001 bike a radial or a bias tire. Have you mixed radial/bias tires on your bike? I currently have a Metzler front tire. I only want tires that are approved for our bikes weight speed rating. Thank you in advance for your answer and for the excellent advice you give to us lurkers. Without you knowledgeable guys on this site, I could know way be riding this motorcycle. Have a great season!

I have a 2000 K1200 Lt (Champagne) and it looks like you have figured out the headlight issue.
I'm getting kind of dizzy with the available options and what fits what burns out etc.
Could you just tell me what to put in mine?
Since you have already figured it out why re invent the wheel.
    Thanks
    Tom

Do you still have the tools? I found a crazy cheep RS on craigslist, and am thinking of replacing my VStrom, but it needs a new clutch.

These are deep discharge capable batteries but if below 6 volts or so that is pretty darn deep. Most smart chargers will not start start the charge cycle at these low voltages. The answer is hook up your charger and at the same time take another battery, even a 9 volt smoke alarm battery and connect leads in parallel to the battery your trying to charge for a couple of seconds. The charger will see the 9 volts (or more if your using a 12 volt battery) and start the charge cycle. Most AGM batteries can only handle a few events like this before they are not fit for dependable use.

Hi George, Got my package in the mail, thank you, I'll return the washer tool when done.

Q; The big seal you sent I believe P/N 23 12 2 330 135 is called "Output Shaft 25x40x6" Where's it go? In front of the drive shaft at the trans output?

And; how about P/N 23 10 7 705 085 "Shaft Seal Drive Shaft". I guess I'll match them up on when it's all apart. The MAX BMW fisch shows (2) parts on the exploded as part #10, 2 different part numbers, both claiming to be shaft seals!

And; do I need the "FELT"? Parts fisch claims 2 differant versions of push rods for clutch, 1 with the felt, 1 without. Bike was built 2/2000

I'll be down to replacing parts by Sat afternoon. Mark
