LED Brakelight Working Now

I had previously posted that after installing the BRAKE! brand LED tailights my "triangle" warning light would not go out (this is the one that indicates a burnt out bulb).
I e-mailed the company and today I recieved and installed thier fix (a very small resistor) and it fixed the problem.
I certainly love good customer service-------and the product in this case is very good as well .

I installed mine and did not experience that problem. I wonder if you did NOT get the LT specific model.

By the way I really like the flashing action. I don't think that it is much brighter than the bulbs but the flashing really gets your attention.

The company stated that on some of the earlier models of their product a resistor was needed. Because of the rather unique set-up of the LT bulbs I doubt that any other models would fit. And yes, the flash function certainly seems to attract the attention of those behind you . (my riding partners all ride non-BMW products so that's where they usually are--------behind me )

Installation of LED's

I am looking to put LED brake lights and a modulator on front, so just a couple of questions to get me started,

How in depth was the installation of your LED's?

Did you purchase on line or through a dealer?

Thanks

Thumbs up LED tailight

I purchased from Brake!, on line.
Easy install - just replaced the bulbs and hooked up jumpers.
Have to install load resistor, have it, just haven't done it yet.
Easy as pie.
Good product.
Makes a difference is visibility.
