Changed headlight bulb (H3), still won't work

Recently purchased a 1999 K1200LT, noticed the high beam didn't work. Changed out bulb, with a factory spec H3 bulb, still no response... any clues? Is there a fuse for the headlamp, or possible loose connection? All other electricals seem to work....

Probably a loose / broken connector, there are some post on this you can use the search function to find. But first you might check the continuity of the new bulb to make sure it is, in fact, good. Then you can go find the break.

Sometimes the ground wire comes off, or gets loose and overheats. Check the end of the brown wire from the bulb socket, it attaches to a "Fast-on" ground lug inside the headlight housing, at the top.
