HID xenon light power source R1200RT

Anyone out there installed HIDs on a CANBUS equipped BMW and used the stock wiring to power them? I would like to avoid using a relay and extra wiring if possible. I am interested in getting some feedback from folks who have done this.

PIAA HID Aux Lights

I installed PIAA's HID Aux Light kit on my R12GS. Light relay (+ & -) direct to battery, switch (+) lead tapped to Parking Lamp circuit. I would not recommend using existing headlamp circuit wiring to slave your lights to.. Always hook directly to battery and make sure your ground is excellent..
