Want to mount my PIAAs on the top of the ezy mounts...

But they state always mount the piaa 910's with the "piaa" etched into the lens upright. Can I mount theses upside down on top of the brackets, or do I need to moun them on the underside of the ezymount, in their "correct" way?

I think that you can remove the light from it's housing, turn it 180 degrees and re-install. This should correct the problem.

I tried flipping the lenses in my PIAA 910's, but the front metal bezel that holds the lens wasn't symmetrical. Maybe just the glass lens can be flipped, but I haven't looked at them again yet.

They sure are bright, though.

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...

Drain

Are the 910 meant to be mounted one way due to a drain for the light Housing.
I have to look at mine

The housing cannot be flipped, if the lens can, I am not sure how to do it without breaking something.

So this is what I did

i turned both the small wiring drain out of each lamp 180 degrees so it points down when the lamps are mounted with the brackets on the bottom. Additionally I separated the housing, and turned the gaskets 180 degrees so they can drain properly. I have no idea what to do about the lens, so I am going to run them the way they arer right now. Thanks for the suggestions, and if someone knows how to flip the lenses or if it will make a difference, let us all know

just a correction on my part. My mounts are RBR mounts, not ezmount, so if you thought I was nuts, I am not, just incorrect on what mount I had.

On the RBR mounting bracket, the lights go on top not on the bottom.
