DDM Update

After having trouble with my DDM HID low-beam kit (see my previous posts), I finally decided problem was in the ignitor or ballast and not with me or my bike. DDM tried everything they could to convince me otherwise and repeatedly warned me that if they tested the unit and didn't find a problem that they would send it back to me and charge me shipping both ways. I'm sure they do this for their own protection and I understand that. Anyway, I did send it back to them (they emailed me a shipping label) and within two days they had tested it, determined it was indeed a bad ballast and sent me back a new one. I received it, tested it, then installed it on the bike and finally, I can see!!
It was a bummer to have the first unit end up being defective, but props to DDM for handling the situation quickly and professionally. After all was said and done, I would buy from them again. They were always available to talk to and they handled the situation correctly. What more could one ask?

Just thought I should post a happy ending as I sure would have posted had it turned out otherwise!!

Re: DDM Update

Thanks for sharing the positive closure on your experience with DDM and their lighting, Mark. Always good to let folks know how things ended - good or bad in most cases - and alleviate any negative impact on future bidness with vendors, etc. Expecially when they do the right thing, and provide good customer service doing so.
