Cool Additional lighting

Has anyone added additional lighting to the bike such as ground effects or street glow lighting? If so, where specifically did you place the lighting and what kind did you use? Where you pleased with the effect or was the LT now well suited for this?

Re: Additional lighting

Now your talkin...

I have blue street glow lighting mounted inside the right and left t-ware and blue ground effects (GE)lights below the drivers foot area.... They run on their own circuit and are switched. I use yellow GE lights for the feet area. Same scenario, on their own circuit and switched. Them little bad boys have saved my butt more than once.

I have rear facing turn and run lighting on the chrome piece in the drivers feet area and marker lights just behind the tall gunners seat.

Them yellows are the best... Good lighting for planting the foots...

Re: Additional lighting

I have a bunch of lights on my bike.

1. Turned saddlebag reflectors into LED turn signals/running lights.
2. LED Marker lights on Tip-over wings near your shin.
3. LED strips along the length of the tip-over wings
4. Wings of Gold (yellow LEDs in the moveable wings)
5. Red LED strip along the three outside sides of the trunk (running light)
6. Yellow LED strips along the sides of the trunk (turn signals)
7. Marker lights mounted onto my Mick-O-Pegs (turns signal and running lights)
8. Trail Tech HID lights under the mirrors
9. PIAA lights in the cowl
10. LED lights inside the saddlebags that go on when the door is opened.

There may be more, but that all I can think of right now. If you're at CCR this year, you can see everything in person.

My motto is, "You can never have too many lights on a motorcycle."

As you can see by Larry's list,
you're only limited by your imagination and finances,
here's something inexpensive to get you started.
