where to mount these driving lights ??

I've taken these 75W Lazer Stars off of another bike and would like to mount them on my K1200LT. They have a single mounting post, and because of this configuration it appears if I use Ezy Mounts, these may hang down farther than the PIAA's do. Any opinions on cowl vs. under-mirror mounting for a light of this type??

Howdy...
I would not mount to the wheel area.. seems to me they won't take the vibration too well.

I would probably mount them under the "tipover" wings... Of course if you drop the bike they will be damaged.

Re: where to mount these driving lights ??

They will hang down too far and will compromise fender clearance under some conditions, if mounted on my brackets. They are also too heavy for my standard bracket.

They will cause problems.

I have one and have already tested for application to the LT 4 years ago.

The company that produced this light has come out with another version that will bolt-up to my mount and will clear, but has no vertical adjustment capability. It would have to be mounted on my new bracket that is currently sold to MotoLight for their new lamp, which requires the bracket to be moved to accomplish vertical adjustment of the lamp.
