Headlight Modulator

I have a 2006 K1200LT and I would like to put a headlight modulator on the ole girl. Has anyone used to Signal Dynamics Diamond Star Headlight Modulator with Heads Up Alert? I found where the Path Blazer P115W-2A has been used but I don't like the idea that it has to be mounted externally. I assume that is to expose it to ambient light to control the switching from modulating to solid at night. The Signal Dynamics unit has a sensor that can be ran through a small hole. Sure hope I can get some assistance.
Thanks
Don

Re: Headlight Modulator

I have a modulator on my Yamaha which has the remote sensor. I never use it because there is a slight modulation of the dash lights visible as it operates. That just bugs the crap out of me. Personally I think you would be better off to invest in an HID system which is what I have on the BMW. DDMtuning.com is a good place to start.

Don... '06??? LT??? Has a Xenon bulb... You don't want to be playin' around with that bad boy... Think PIAA's and/or caliper mounted Moto Lights... Even spots that mount inside the mirror facing.
