Ducati Design Light System

I just finished installing my DD light system I bought on E-Bay.

After wrestling off ALL of the Tuperware, I did an annual service also, the install went smoothly.

Last night was my first night ride with the new light. If you don't have a DD system you don't know what you've NOT been seeing! It is an amazing improvement.

The twin low beams project a bright, focused corridor of light to travel within.

This may be the best money I've ever spent on a motorcycle upgrade.

Paul Geller at DD was gracious and helpful when I called with a few install questions.

It is too bad he has stopped production of this great safety upgrade.

Safe rides to all.

Yes, Paul is a very nice guy, alas the LT market was too limited to be profitable.

I was lucky enough to snatch one of the last units and love it. Next big service will include upgrading the DD to dual HID.

Re: Ducati Design Light System

I recently replaced my DD 90mm Hella high beam lamp as the lens got stoned. I found a replacement lamp from Susquehanna MotorSports www.rallylights.com with shipping was $66.00 an included a new H9 bulb. If you are running without lens protection like I was this information may come in handy. I do love the DD system, at every rally I get questions about the headlights. Pictured is the old lamp, it pops out of 3 ball sockets in the DD base plate and the new one pops back in.

Daveh,

That is some good to know info. Can you tell me if this is the correct module that you bought?
