HID Install

After reading the "how to" posting from Messenger 13 on the home page, I stepped up and performed the install. Extremely easy 45 minute install, thanks to the pictures and directions. Took a short ride last night for the test. Very dramatic improvement over the standard bulb. Almost makes the high beam and PIAAs irrelevant. The biggest challenge was finding a place for the ballast module and wires. I zip tied everything to the frame between the front forks.

Much thanks to Messenger 13.

Re: HID Install

I just did mine last night as well. I have a lot more that I'm adding, so I had the nose off, which gave me a great place to double stick tape the ballast inside the nose fairing. What a difference!

Re: HID Install

I'm ready to make this upgrade on my 2000 LT. What kit is everyone using now?
