Seems like it might be confusing for someone behind you. Looks like a confused turn! In Florida, a lot of confused motorist can't remember their LEFT from their Right and make changes that make no sense. When they signal, I know something may happen, just not sure what!

I like mine that just flashes very fast for about 3-4 seconds and then stays solid red.

I agree with you. That why I am thinking of using the mode 2:

User Selected Mode Two:
Emits a visual signal of 5 alternating quick flashes of the left and right brake lights, followed by 3 short flashes of both brake lights and then the brake light remains steady until the brake is released

This seems like an inexpensive way to get the brake lights flashing. Please update us when you install and how it works out.
