LED Amber lights on front side of Mirrors?

I am thinking about putting these lights on the mirror assembly front side. Any opinions?

Item number:270321277099

I may have to drill a hole. I am planning to use them as turn signals and running lights.

Those are interesting, but I think a long strip of LEDs that you stick on would look better. I'm thinking of starting to carry the ones shown in the attached photos.

If I can get some orders, I'll get some in. I would sell them for $18 per pair (including shipping in the US). The dimensions are: 6.3" long x .98" wide x .39" thick

This wouldn't be like my regular kits--just the LED strips by themselves, though you could use the instructions from my other products for info on how to wire them as running lights and turn signals.

Would you stick them to bottom front part of the mirror assembly?

I like the second set Mat but the seem very expensive just to have the motion.

Yeah, those Kisan ones are pretty cool, but at $120, wow.

Matt, the ones I'm thinking of importing could stick anywhere. They are flexible strips and will fit the contour of the mirrors. You can put them where ever you want. I'm even thinking of using them above the existing front turn signals (and disconnecting the existing ones--I'll have to see what it looks like).

Here is what I added to the front of the mirrors. They just snap in and I used a small zip tie to make sure they don't come out. About $7 for the pair IIRC. They are bright enough to show up in the pic even with the sun in the background.

Looks like it fits very well. Where did you buy them?

Re: LED Amber lights on front side of Mirrors?

They did go in very easy and fit perfect. I bought them at a local truck dealer/repair shop in mankato. I also added some to the back of the bike in red of course. This pic is in direct sun. These are very bright. I don't need backup lights at night. I just want to be seen as bigger than the regular motorcycle. I have wired the front lights into the signals so that they do the wig wag thing when the signal is on. They are on when the signal is off.

Re: LED Amber lights on front side of Mirrors?

I installed the "wings of gold" in the deflectors, sanded the edges per the instructions, but I don't believe they are bright enough to be seen as a running light/turn signal. The light doesn't diffuse as I expected (diffusion appearance similar to the size of a roman guard's shield ).

The snap-on lights in the reply by 2wheelroadtrip appear to perform both functions. I'm curious how visible they are from the front (view from car stopped at an intersection). The rear view also appears to provide additional lighting I seek, as well.
