One hell of a light!

I purchased 3 of these 185 lumen lights, and one of the A123 / 215 lumen lights from Phil Bradley at Kandlepower via Amazon. These lights are fantastic. I paid about $60 for the L2D. Runs on 2) AA batteries. Has L/M/H and SOS, and Super H and Strobe.

I bought the accessories from Bright Guy.com, buying the red lens filter and the diffuser. The storage caps did not fit. One light had a defective switch, which was replaced by the company.

I previously used primarily Surefire lights, one 120 lumen Combat model,
the rest the 60 lumen plastic models. There is NO comparison whatsoever.

Twist the on/off switch a quarter turn to disable the Fenix, if put in a fanny pack..... I did not know that and all but caught my pack on fire, which also had a firearm inside. When the light activated it got so hot, I had to remove it with a pot holder and dunk it in water. Fortunately, I happened to see it not too long after the switch was bumped by something else in the pack.

This is THE best flashlight I have ever used, regardless of size or source of power. Very inexpensive to use with the AA batteries, and works great as an all purpose Kubaton, legal to carry anywhere.

Too bad they don't have something battery powered to mount as an aux headlight on the LT.
