Front Signal Housing LED Upgrade

Installing Amber LED upgrade to my K1200LT signal lamp housings. Running smoke lenses, so will be using amber LED's. They will operate as running lights with ignition on. Will post pics and more info when work is completed.

Question Re: Front Signal Housing LED Upgrade

I like it, but have a few questions for you:

1. By any chance do you have pics of the installation process?

2. Was it a stip of LEDs or did you use raw LEDs and wire them together with resistors etc. and drill and poke them throug?

3. What was your source for the LEDs (link or name)?

Thanks in advance.

pics...

available from:

wiring on these kits is very delicate, never crimp over, always strip insulation and solder, also use shrink tubing on every piece you work with.. I learned the hard way, installation on my bike was the 4th install I have done so far..

Re: Front Signal Housing LED Upgrade

Thanks for posting the pics and link, it's a very nicely understated addition, plus I like that it gives side running lights for added visibility and therefore safety.
