Re: New K1600GTL
Yeah, what they said......I got mine last September and now have 8200 miles on it. This past weekend made a little run up to Arkansas and rode the Talimena Trail. Fog was so thick you couldn't see 500 feet, but after it cleared about a third of the way across the trail, riding was great. 2 up with luggage. Autocom worked great, bike was a lot of fun.
The day after I got it, I left for Colorado. Great way to get used to a bike, but as others have said, it takes a while to get used to it with all that it does. I'm still finding things.
It sits next to my LT in the garage(need to sell that bike) but the LT never gets ridden anymore. I took it out for a bit one day last week and it felt like a huge lead sled. Very hard to handle.....and at one time I thought it was very good.
The GTL is the best bike I have ever ridden and cannot imagine getting rid of it.
