Schubert C3 pairing problem with 2 helmets
We are new to the BMW community with recent purchase of the 1600GLT and a pair of Schubert C3 complete with communications. In addition we have the Navigation system. We can easily communicate helmet to helmet, OR helmet 1 (driver) to the BMW. BUT as soon as helmet 2 is activated, helmet 1 communication is lost. Nothing is paired.
We have tried following the instructions about pairing and unpairing and have not been able to use both helmets connecting to the audio system. When we left the dealer, we thought they would have worked out the bugs and everything would work.
The bike is flawless, its very comfortable for both passemger (me) and driver- but we are very concerned there is a bug in the way our helmets communicate with the BMW audio system. How about a step by step for people like us who are NOT tech savy but can follow directions. What are we doing wrong? The dealer said to turn bike on, turn on helmet 1, wait for pairing, turn on helmet 2. This fails. We have tried other combinations- all have failed. The manuals to not give any troubleshooting directions.
