Motorcycle-USA comparison review

Not saying anything, just providing the link. The stage is set with the K1600GTL vs. the 2012 Honda Goldwing vs. the CanAm Spyder RT.

From the article: "Though BMW has a far reaching history in the motorcycle touring segment, until this year it lacked a true luxury tourer capable of going head-to-head with the best from Japan and Canada."

Huh?

Re: Motorcycle-USA comparison review

A 6th grade student who failed 5th grade english must've written that article. What ever happened to editors or proofreading something prior to publishing it?

It seems that the winner in any of these tests will depend on whether the author is touring or performance oriented.

More than 132,000 (recently corrected higher) motorcycle riders have died in traffic crashes since the enactment of the Highway Safety Act of 1966 and The National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act of 1966. Be careful out there.

Actually, the comments seem to mirror stuff I read on non-denominational forums. Conclusions I have read were that if one wanted to tour long distances on the superslab the GW would be the choice. If one wanted to spend more time on 2-lanes then the BMW would be the choice.

Now, if you look at page 5 where the three reviewers interject their preference as to which they would buy with 'their money', 2 say GW and 1 says GTL. Their reasons are pretty in-line with the reasonings of the non-denominational forum members.

But it isn't over there...that is just the subjective comments; the objective data further down on page 5 shows who won the 'points' battle...and I would call it by a wide margian.

The only issue I am having is page 3, the GW review, will not load for me.

As far as I can tell, they tried to do as much an objective review as possible with this comparison.

regards,
Dan

And this doesn't jibe at all with the voiceover of the K16GTL video...
