iPhone connect to K1600, just to confirm....

Greetings All;

Just picked up a 2018 Bagger today. I've tried connecting my iPhone directly with the bike; via bluetooth and via USB with no luck... Based upon what I have read, unless I want to go for a bluetooth headset and possibly a GPS, I am outta luck. The iPhone will not connect directly via bluetooth. Also, the bike's system will not control my iPhone via the USB connection.. what I can do is connect the USB essentially for power and use a second cable to connect the actual sound as an aux device...

Is this correct or am I missing something?

Thanks,

Joel

Only a Bluetooth headset will connect with the bike.

No bt headset or earpiece, no phone. On my GTL I can hook my Iphone, usb music stick or Ipod using the special BMW dongle. Not sure on the bagger.

Re: iPhone connect to K1600, just to confirm....

First, did you buy a Navigator GPS for the bike? also, do you own a Bluetooth equipped helmet?

If you answered yes to both of those questions, you will be able to connect and use your iPhone, GPS and Bike using your bluetooth helmet.
Please list the helmet bluetooth device you are using and I will give you the correct order to connect all devices so they will work properly.
