Bagger

Have to say.....Saw the bagger in Cleveland and it's not that bad. Has a couple cool features on it. Highway pegs that are actually foot boards. Look really good and useful. Can see them coming to the other 1600s. Word is it will be August until it's out as they are trying to get it a bit lower according to the BMW rep there. Don't know why they are still calling it a 17 if that's the case but look forward to seeing it on the road.

Re: Bagger

I'm looking forward to seeing the K1600B as well. Some of the photos make it look really wide on the front end, I don't know if that's good or bad.

Re: Bagger

Looks like BMW is following Honda, Goldwing/F6B.

Barry, it is a bagger but imo does not look even close to the old GW bagger look.

Re: Bagger

You're missing my point. BMW has the GTL and stripped down version called a bagger, Honda has the Goldwing and a stripped down version called a F6B.

Re: Bagger

I'm very interested. I previously owned a GTL and loved it, except for the seat height, but I've always been a "Cruiser" rider. I plan on riding one next week. I hope it lives up to my expectations.
