Arm Rest

I recently purchased my K1600GT and mounted my rear trunk off my R1200RT. Does anyone know if there are some aftermarket armrests that I can mount. (A happy wife is a happy life)http://www.bmwlt.com/forums/images/B...face_smile.png

Re: Arm Rest

As far as I know there are no aftermarket ones being produced. BMW does offer them for the GTL but I'm not sure they will fit on the GT since the GT and GTL have different rear grab handles and the BMW armrest mount with the grab handles.

That being said I took a set from a 1500 Goldwing and made them work on my GTL's topcase. This way when you remove the topcase the armrest comm off too. The BMW ones stay on the bike even after the topcase comes off.

Re: Arm Rest

Gotta wonder if LT armrests would work? The Ztechnik ones that mount to the sides of the trunk. I have them on my LT. There nice, but not cheap.

Re: Arm Rest

I have a 2012 GTL, and I purchased arm rests for my wife from bmwpassengerarmrests.com I know they won't fit all GT's or GTL years, I am pretty happy with them, except he needs to develop a better way to keep them from moving. My wife doesn't seem to mind them tho.
