From Venture to BMW K1600/1200RT...

Hi,
I am debating if handling the K1600 GT or GTL, will be Much easier then the 805 pounds Venture...? Also, how well can you hear iPhone music on speakers, while riding the Highway ??
Thank you.

The speakers are OK to about 60 MPH. After that, it is very difficult to hear music. Music quality is much better with bluetooth helmet speakers.

The venture is 869lbs wet according to Yamaha's website. Any reduction in weight with an increase in power is a plus. The BMW stops better and handles better too. I can't think of anything that would be a let down.

Never ridden a Venture but I can say that the GTL is easier to handle than the LT, it is lighter and MUCH more fun to ride!

As far as the music, I have the Interphone BT and the audio sounds great as well as the phone.
