BMW Communication System

I have the BMW communication system in my helmet and linked it to the GTL communication and the Gps and the cell phone through the GPS. I have read all the manuals and it only talks about receiving calls not making them. Is there another manual or instructions available that show more of how to use the system.

Re: BMW Communication System

You can answer/reject calls using the Scroll Wheel menu, and do limited call control through the Com System headset, but most phone control is handled through the GPS screen.

There is a Using Hands-free Calling section on page 17 of the BMW Navigator IV manual which explains it all in detail. I imagine the Navigator V manual has a similar section.

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...

Also - I very seldom make outgoing calls while riding but occasionally have to let the Bride know my ride is a little longer then planned. GPS Main screen > touch phone Icon > select phone book, call history or Home (provided you entered your home phone #). That's all there is to it. As Meese stated the Wonder Wheel works well for with accepting a incoming call or sending it to Voice Mail.

Re: BMW Communication System

My GPS Home phone # is programmed to my wife's phone. No sense in trying to call myself while out on the road . . .
