Re: Say Hello to my friend Roland and my new LT flag mount
I created a 3/4" thick plywood board with two marine antenna mounts and two SS tubes (from an old vacuum cleaner). I fly 2 Big Flags, (3x5 US and PGR) on flag poles sticking from the antenna mounts. the board is on the rear seat and i use two tie-down straps to hold it on the seat and the back. We don't have any escort missions posted for this week so far, so i won't be mounting it until that time but i can set it in place and will post some pics. BTW they withstand 65 MPH for an hour. the nylon PGR flag doesn't do too well but i'm working on on a border seam.
be careful out there!
