New Odyssey PC-680 0 Volts?

I ordered a PC-680 battery to replace the oem battery since it's getting weak. Received it today and went to test it before install to make sure it's fully charged and it reads 0 volts. Totally dead. Tested my meter on another battery and it works fine, so I know it's not the meter. Anyone else ever have this issue? Guess I'll be packing it up and sending it back.....

My PC-680 was strong as new rope out of the box. Better send it back.

Already boxed up. Amazon says a replacement should arrive tomorrow. Must be a broken connection somewhere inside the battery for it to read zero.

That battery company stands tall behind their product. If any more problems deal directly with them. Although with Amazon it's usually no problem...

Re: New Odyssey PC-680 0 Volts?

Second one was perfect. Excellent service from Amazon. I entered the return last night and the new battery was on my door step this afternoon. They gave me a UPS label to send the bad battery back. As long as you send it back within 30 days, they don't hit you for the cost of the new one they sent.

The battery spins the big engine easily. Isn't there some sort of a throttle procedure that you need to do when the bike has had the battery disconnected??? I remember reading that somewhere.

I think it's TPS throttle position sensor reset. Do a quick search
