On the Road Again

I finished this afternoon. I got it all back together and rode a few miles to check it out. I fudged a little on the buckets. Instead of pulling the timing change cover and fuel tank and radiators, I just pulled the cam gear off the intake cam and replaced the buckets and put the cam gear back on. It saved me a lot of work. New Iridium plugs made it run better. The Ohlins make it ride better. Did the canisterectomy and changed the coolant. I'll be sore tomorrow but it's worth it............

Glad you got her back on the road. By the way nobody pulls the timing cover and all that stuff. Just cable tie the chain to the gears and pull them, change the buckets and slap them back on.

Re: On the Road Again

DPR7EIX-9 is the number for the plug. Several here have used them. Once I got a set with no end caps but I don't think that's a problem today........
