Re: Front tire valve stem

Now I actually think the core is bad, may not need a new stem.

Is the stem rubber or steel or aluminum? If rubber, replace it with steel or aluminum.

I have rubber now, for some reason I thought the steel ones were not preferred.

Steel ones are considered 'lifetime', but can rust if the plating is not perfect. The environment inside a tire can have plenty of moisture.
(I hope this doesn't start another N2 discussion!)

Re: Front tire valve stem

Well it turns out that I had a bad core. I went up to the local and they gave me a core, I swapped them out and the tire is holding air now!!

I like the easy fixes, they don't happen often!!
