Passenger headset plug in

I have a 2007 and it has a V.O.I.C.E. II system. I do not see a place for the passenger to plug in the headset. On the left side of the passenger seat back is one plug and it looks like a power plug, but that is all. Am I missing something?

On my 09 with the Voice II, the passenger plug is right next to the powerlet plug. The audio controls for the passenger are on the opposite side. Sounds like whoever did your installation didn't install the second plug.

Re: Passenger headset plug in

Are you sure you have a VOICE II and not an aftermarket like Autocom or Baehr?

Yep, that looks just like my Voice II. My passenger plug is right next to the powerlet that you have in the other pic.

Re: Passenger headset plug in

Well as you can see I do not have one. Could it be wired and not mounted in the proper place?

Re: Passenger headset plug in

remove the rear seat and have a look, it may be dangling under there and not hard wired

Re: Passenger headset plug in

I took the seat off and found no wires dangling. I traced the wire for the power outlet into a grommet and that is the only wire I saw . Oh well, I guess the original owner didn't order it with a passenger plug, if that is possible.

So much for the cheap way out for a comm system.

Thanks for your help!

Re: Passenger headset plug in

I wonder if at some point the PO had the top trunk replaced for whatever reason, and the replacement came from an LT without the Voice II.
I am selling a complete Baerh com system designed for the LT in the Classified section and I can make you a deal if interested.
