Kill Switch Replacement

Due to a situation that doesn't bear on my question, the kill switch button top broke off so that the grey button and the red lever that used to be there, is no longer there. Where does one get a replacement and is the replacement of the button or plastic part you see, something I can do with a little instruction, and where would be the best place to get the part. I have a 2000 k1200lt. Thanks.

From the "marble desk"

FOR VEHICLES WITH CONTINUOUS LIGHT (CODE: X323A) AND HEATED HANDLEBAR GRIPS (CODE: X519A) :
02 61 31 7 651 588 COMBI SWITCH RGHT,HTD HNDGRIP/CONT.LIGHT 0.43 1 $269.64

Look for the correct model from MAX BMW Fiches. The price is about there anyway. I would spend couple of minutes trying to find a used one...

Born to be wild so why not
