Nope, Rotors & rims changed in 2002 USA models. 1999 to 2001 use different front rims & rotors than 2002 to 2009 USA models.

Re: bent rim

I have a 99 and need only the front rim at this point. I haven't broken or striped the rotors yet.

I believe the rim to be a 99-01 fit. Would you chime in with the casting numbers to verify.

Or if someone knows how to make a differential diagnosis of the two applications.

Thanks

The difference is in the machined height of the brake rotor mounts. The 1999 to 2001 are shorter. I don't know if the casting numbers will help.

Re: bent rim

I'm hoping someone will be able to confirm some measurements. I'm riding and don't want to pull the wheels and rotors until I have the correct rim to fit a 1999LT in hand.

This is not word for word, but Pete measured inside to inside of the disc mounts with veneer calipers and got 4.645". He then measured the rotor mounts on his 02 LT and got 4.785"

I have no way to accurately take the same ID measurement with everything mounted. But I was able to get what I think to be a very accurate center to center of the rotor mounting screws. It is 4 23/32 " or 4.718"

Re: bent rim

There are a LOT of wheel straightening companies. Google for "Motorcycle wheel straightening" and fine one near you. Even if you replace yours, get it straightened for future use. Some of the pictures I have seen showed very badly bent wheels restored to like new.

Re: bent rim

Thanks David. I do have a wheel straightener nearby. I'd have never have thought of it.
