need some help in Nakusp, BC

Tire was well over wear indicator, chip seal tore it to cord showing on the rear. Any members in area that are willing to trade rear to get me home and resolve later in the week? The Mrs is with me so we need to get back to Wenatchee safely.

I just checked the member list and there are some members in BC. I would try PMing them.

Re: need some help in Nakusp, BC

Didn't have data service, just what wi-fi I could scrounge on my way to the border as I kept it under 40 mph for 170 miles to the border, and 30 mph the last 25 miles (although I did see more countryside than I think I ever have). I had a friend with a bike trailer meet me in Kettle Falls, WA as my rear tire was feathering apart... this Metzler lasted me only 8400 miles, not the usual 9500-10,000. Lesson learned, from now on my tires are getting changed at 8000 miles regardless, even though the tire was well above the wear indicator (not beyond as I read my first post, english and bad english on a smart phone, dumb user).

Anyway, for a few dollars, I'm never going through this again.
