EHCS time...

I might be imagining things, but it seems like my EHCS has slowed a bit. It's not quite struggling but almost, particularly 2 up. Does this sound normal? I might have to go and time it...

Re: EHCS time...

the fluid gets old or if it leaks a little it wont work as fast, then it will take a couple of tries. pretty easy to change the fluid.

Re: EHCS time...

the little "Honda HS-50N" starter motor that runs it is probably near end-of-life for your 2005. Cheap fix to replace.

Mine was doing this and then it started stopping half way up, I pulled the motor apart and cleaned the road gunk out of it and cleaned the brushes a couple years ago and all is still good. I never touched the pump.

Quick and easy job, about an hour or so
