New Battery

I am needing to by a new battery for my bike. I have a couple different recommendations from people I am wanting to get my fellow 1200LT members advice. The batteries I have been recommend was the MotoBatt, Yuasa, and Shorai.

One of the qualities I am looking for is a battery that will last the longest in the Phoenix, Arizona heat. Which kills batteries

Thanks for the help fellow riders

Mike

Re: New Battery

After reading the posted reviews on their site, I ordered one of them for my 1150RTP from Battery Mart. Delivery was fast and the price was probably as low there as anywhere. I did not order the adaptor kit and it did not come with the battery. If you do order a battery from them, you may want to order the kit, just in case you need it. Jim

Re: New Battery

I would go with the Yuasa. I had purchased this battery many times for my Yamaha Venture Royale and it lasted many years with no problems. I had purchased a Odyssey battery for my LT and it lasted only 2 years and then would not hold a charge. I then purchased a different AGM battery for the LT. Sorry I can't remember the brand name at the moment, but I hope it lasts longer than the Odyssey. The Odyssey had cost me nearly $200.00. Hope you find a good one.
Cheers,
JIm
