K1200 throttle lock

I have been looking for a throttle lock/wrist rest for a couple weeks and find many devices that fit many bikes but none for the K1200LT. I am sure there is a reason for this I am not seeing but could someone enlighten me please? If you know of a throttle lock device or one that can be adapted to the LT I would love to hear about it!

Question Re: K1200 throttle lock

Is your Cruise Control not working? Why do you need a Throttle Lock on an LT? Some of us have the "Cramp Buster" as a backup for when or if our Cruise control goes out, but otherwise you shouldn't need one on the LT.

Re: K1200 throttle lock

I got in the bad habit of using my throttle lock in my former job (Motor Officer) and enjoyed having the ability to let go of the throttle without having to set the cruise. My cruise is working sporadically (working to fix this) so I thought it would be nice to have. I do have a cramp buster which helps, was in Bobs and saw the wrist rest and got excited for a moment (generally happens when I am at the BMW shop) but now see they are not made for the K1200LT.
