It's best to run a new circuit to each set of lights.
I used the Painless fuse block to come off the battery. It is mounted above the right saddle bag. It has switched and un-switched circuits. I used the seat heater wire to trigger the relay since it is ignition switched.
From there, you can use a relay that is triggered by the high beam to light off the 910 or the 1100.
I had two sets of 1100 on my RT with the lower set on most of the time. Didn't have 910. The Upper set of 1100 was relayed in with my high beam so that when the high beam came on, so did they. I also had a handlebar switch to turn them completely off.
Off the fuse block on the LT I run the GPS, Radar, Autocom, heated vest [x2], and AUX lighting. Each circuit is fused.
