front brake rotor discoloration

I just changed the brake fluid and was not careful when breeding the caliper. I got old brake fluid all over the caliper , pads, and rotor. and the rim and tire. I cleaned up as much as possible wiping everything dry except the pads and in side the caliper. I then took the bike out for a test ride to check the brakes, I found a secluded road got the bike going about 60mph. and tried to lock up the brakes hard. i did this 3 times. the brakes felt nice and firm, the wheels never locked up and I was able to stop under control. When i got home i noticed the rotors looked brown or burnt in color. But they were not hot. a litlte warm but i was able to touch them bare handed. I pulled the pads to check for excessive wear and every thing looked fine.

Could the old brake fluid get burnt on to the rotors?

Re: front brake rotor discoloration

Could be that or a chemical reaction accelerated by the hard stops and extra heat. Nothing to worry about as far as I know.
