Integrated ABS or EVO Integrated

How do you tell what kind of Brakes are on the bike? I am looking to snag a full set of brake pads to have on hand in the tool box and there are two different front part numbers From EBC for the 2003 LT Depending if I have the Integrated ABS, or if I have the EVO Integrated ABS.

Any Ideas?

It always has been my understanding that models equipped with "EVO - Integral ABS" began in many countries (Europe and Canada) in 2001, but only in 2002 for the US Market.

The simple ways to know if you have "EVO Integral ABS":
1) The front Calipers are marked BMW instead of BREMBO
2) With Ignition ON, before starting engine: you can hear the electrical booster pump of the ABS unit when you press the front lever.

Previous generation (1999-2001) are generally referred to as "ABS II" (or ABS2) and the Calipers are marked BREMBO.

Re: Integrated ABS or EVO Integrated

My calipers say BMW on them. I am guessing then I use the FA294 EBC pads then on the front.

Very strange that EBC's own book shows that you can have non EVO on bikes up to 2010.

Thanks for the info!

Re: Integrated ABS or EVO Integrated

The correct part #s for your 2003 LT EBC HH pads are

Front FA294HH x 2
Rear FA304HH x 1

Re: Integrated ABS or EVO Integrated

EVO was never used to describe the LT brake system just ABS II and Integral ABS.
