Flooding in or near Clarksville, Tn

I'm thinking of taking a trips from St Louis to Chattanooga, TN and saw on TV recently of the flooding near Clarksville on what looked like a major thoroughfare. Is there a flooding issue in that area? Anyone near there that can help? If anyone is interested, I'm leaving St Louis on 8/25 to go to Chattanooga and ride the BRP for a few days.

Assuming you plan to ride I-24, you will not have any problem with flooding.

Most all of the flooding has subsided in and around Nashville. Not many spots left that have made passage an obstacle. as stated, if you're on 24, all is good with exception of the road construction areas...
