Power Socket Max Out (info)

2000 K1200LT --

Anyone have any real info/data on the power sockets and what the max output is.. Im looking but not finding it.

Both power sockets are 12V?

What's the max Amp: on the rear socket?

Re: Power Socket Max Out (info)

I don't know the answer, but plug something into one and then determine which fuse regulates it. The amperage is on the fuse. You can normally load to about 80 percent with electronics and to about 50 percent with a motorized component.

Re: Power Socket Max Out (info)

I think I got it... the Fuse is a 15 amp. The brown wire looks to be the one wire that runs all the way back to the battery. All is looking good... at this point..

You probably know, but just in case.... the rear socket is switched power, the front are "always live". Rear is a good source for farkles juice.

And front, always on, is what you use to charge or keep a tender on the battery!
