2002 headlight wiring

Does anyone know where the power for headlight is routed from. Taillight works but no power to headlight Or a link to a diagram I haven't been able to find yet. I was fixing brown wire ground now I've lost power to highbeam I haven't tested lowbeam but its not working. Thanks ahead of time to the best ppl on the net.

Re: 2002 headlight wiring

If you didn't disconnect the battery check the fuses.

Since the headlight comes on when you turn the key on, you can use any line that goes hot when you turn the key on. The low beam stays on when the high beam is on.

I'll look up what else is on the headlight fuse.

Re: 2002 headlight wiring

Front turn signals, horns, high and low, side light all share the same negative line straight to the battery.

high beam, low beam and high beam indicator light positive line goes to both multi function switches.

Right mulyifunction switch is fuse block 2, fuse 6, box 1, fuse 4 and box 3 fuse 12

looks as if you should check box 1, fuse 1? which is 4 A and not fuse 4. :-)) for the headlight?
