Fuel pump controller?

So i was riding last weekend and i noticed while cruising at about 77mph it felt like the engine cut off for a fraction of a second. I felt the loss of power but as i said it was for a fraction of a second. It happened twice during a 200 mile ride.

Has this happened to anyone before?... i searched the forum and the only similar symptoms where caused by possible fuel pump controller.

Anybody?

Re: Fuel pump controller?

The K1200 LT does not have a fuel pump controller.....those are on the R1200RT.

I think the first thing I would try is some seafoam additive just in case you got some bad gas.

Re: Fuel pump controller?

Could have been fuel related. If it was an older bike I might suspect the hoses around the fuel filter but on an 09 I am more inclined to go with some bad fuel. Just keep an eye on it and buy your next tank elsewhere.
