Radio Display Unreadable

The radio display on my recently purchased 2003 K1200LT is totally fogged over making the digital display unreadable. This is something on the outside of the display and not moisture underneath. Does anyone know of a product/method for making the display transparent again?

Re: Radio Display Unreadable

Get some denatured alcohol. It will clear it up.

Re: Radio Display Unreadable

I found the solution in the similar posts section. Rub it with denatured alcohol. Now I am working on how to delete this thread.

Re: Radio Display Unreadable

Kit to de-fog head lights worked wonders on mine--it's even readable in day light.
rubbing alcohol never did anything for the pitting. Same for tooth paste.
