Looking for part

I broke the upper left arm on the wind shield. Any one have one or a part number?

Re: Looking for part

I assume you are talking about the left arm of the windscreen adjuster. I hate to tell you this, but you cannot buy just the arm. You have to buy the entire unit, including the motor. I would suggest you try beemerboneyard, or place a post on here. Perhaps someone has a salvaged one they will sell you.

Re: Looking for part

Hey, somebody here just this week posted something in the classifieds about parting out a 2005 LT.

You should give that a look.

Re: Looking for part

Is not easy to find as a part. As said before the don't sell this in parts.
I took mine out and build it my self out of 5mm aluminum sheet metal.
Is working well since Years now.

Hey, Jim - gotta confess that I'm not sure what you meant by "arm". Is the part you need in this attached picture -- pointed to with the white arrow? Has the elbow bend and a hole in each end, with a small hole near the middle for the spring to engage? If that is what you need, I have a few of those made from a sheet of Lexan. Just cost you the postage and handling (+/- $5). You can spray paint it if you want. Lemme know whether I'm talking about the correct part.
