Radio Station Presets

Ok, I have been through every page in the manual. I am assuming I am missing a booklet, because nothing talks about setting the preset radio stations. I also looked on here and searched and couldn't find anything. Can someone either tell me where the Germans are hiding these instructions, tell me how or point me in the same area code as please. Thanks!

You should have an Audio System Supplementary Manual. Tune to a desired station by scanning or manual tune. To manually tune press the man button on the console & tune with the handle bar buttons. Press the mem button on the console, the word "memory" will flash, select the preset number you want to store the station on with the channel buttons on the bar, hit the mem button again & you are set.

Thanks Elton! Fixed!

I don't have that booklet so I will be calling and requesting it.

btw...my wifes brother and family live in Prairieville, in Manchac Place (I think) anyways, we go down a few times a year. Next time we are heading down I will send you a note and maybe we can grab some lunch.

Also, keep in mind that you have TWO sets of 6 presets. Program your first 6 presets, then press the FM button again for 6 more. (As if there's actually 12 FM stations worth listening to in the entire continental US.)

Come on Joe, you forgot about all your talk radio shows on AM. 6 more presets.
See you in a few weeks.

The reason there are only 6AM radio presets and 12 FM presets is because there are only half as many good AM stations as there are good FM stations.

Radio Book

[QUOTE=MaverickAR]

Good luck, I had the radio put in after we bought the bike and we didn't get a book in the radio package. To me it's just a ploy by BMW/dealer to make money. We were charged $22.50 for a small 8 page book that I consider should have come with the radio. It took 6 weeks to get the book and by then I had figured the radio out by myself. Do I sound bitter? Yep!!

Cheers, Bill

And don't forget about punching the AM button a second time for the multiple weather radio channels. It's that time of year when that one may be important. It sure was in STL yesterday.
