Identify Throttle Cable Part

I'm drawing a blank of where this part goes on the throttle cable near the throttle body. Does anyone have a pic of the location. I searched for an hour & got nothing. I'd rather not tear my bike down to have a look.

Re: Identify Throttle Cable Part

The throttle grip has 2 cables leading to the thottle-bodies.

From the Cruise-control unit (under fairing), a 3rd cable goes to the throttle-bodies. This piece is an insert than goes within than 3rd cable - see attached diagram:

Re: Identify Throttle Cable Part

That is exactly where it goes John. Thanks, I didn't have the cruise control cable off but the piece was laying on the lift.

While I was downloading the pic's a wind gust blew the paper off of the chair I was using. It took my wife & I an hour to find it in my gravel driveway.

Re: Identify Throttle Cable Part

I'm glad you were able to determine where that part went, Dave. The drawings weren't much help with the little detail they contained.
