Front Shock Part

Just removed my Ohlins to be rebuilt and installed my old OEM shocks while they are in the shop. Noticed that the "pipe" for the front shock that sits between the rubber bushings was missing on the Ohlins (reference #3 on attachment), so obviously I didn't have it to install on the temporary setup...

How critical is this "pipe"? Is it necessary for the Ohlins shocks? What's the material/size in case I want to "make it" rather than "buy it"?

Thanks all!

The Ohlin does not use the "pipe" it has a built in spacer in the shape of how the shaft is made. Does the same thing as the pipe in the stock shock.
