leaky steering damper

Hi everybody

This afternoon I discovered that the steering damper was oily and doesn't seem to damp anything.
Anybody knows how to fix it?
I don't not want to buy a new item.

Thanks in advance

Re: leaky steering damper

This link shows the procedure for rebuilding the KRS damper. The procedure for the LT is the same.

Here's another thread:

Do a search in this forum, you'll find several threads discussing rebuilding the damper.

Re: leaky steering damper

Thank you Andres
I looked at the thread.
Fixing the damper does not seam to be an easy task.
Anyway, the steering is good so I will leave it alone.
